Pixel and Pedagogy
Capstone
In this project, I designed and developed a comprehensive, accessible, and engaging e-learning module aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of Military Sexual Trauma (MST) among service members and military personnel. This initiative reflects my ability to create impactful online instruction grounded in adult learning principles, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility standards.
Throughout this process, I engaged in thorough needs analysis, applied instructional design theories such as the ADDIE model, and utilized multimedia tools—including Adobe Captivate and Adobe Photoshop—to produce interactive content. The module features videos, scenario-based activities, infographics, quizzes, and downloadable resources, ensuring an engaging and learner-centered experience.

I navigated challenges related to technical deployment, platform navigation, and content accessibility, implementing iterative revisions based on feedback and assessment data. My assessment instruments included pre- and post-knowledge tests, scenario-based evaluations, and learner satisfaction surveys, which effectively measured learning outcomes and program impact.
This project underscores my skills in multimedia content creation, instructional strategy design, and evaluation, while demonstrating my commitment to supporting sensitive topics with empathy and professionalism. My work reflects a learner-focused approach, combining technical proficiency with cultural competence to foster respectful, inclusive educational experiences.
I am eager to leverage these skills in future projects, emphasizing the importance of accessible, impactful learning environments that facilitate behavioral change and organizational development.
